This years County Shield Weekend will take place in Lough Dan this weekend, Friday the 4th May - Sunday 6th May.

All Scouts taking part in this competition are to meet at the Scout Den at 5:30pm Friday.

Lifts will be needed to travel to Lough Dan.

The Closing Ceremony has now been scheduled by the County as 6pm. If you wish to visit Lough Dan for the closing ceremony please do - but parking is limited.

Collection time will be shortly after 6pm.

Annual Camp 3rd Payment is due on Thursday the 3rd of May

We will be having a Bag Packing Fundraiser on Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th of April in Dunnes Stores, Ashleaf Shopping Centre, Crumlin.

This Fundraising is for the 20 Scouts attending Annual Camp 2012.

If you are unable to make this time and date below, please re-arrange yourself. You MUST notify the Scout Leaders of any changes made.

Friday Beavers Family Day

Time: 1pm to 4pm

As part of our Community Special Interest Badge, the Friday Beaver Colony would like to invite you to Larch Hill, on Sunday 15^th April, 2012. The beavers will show and teach you the skills they have learnt over the last few months.  There will be a walk so you will need:

 good walking shoes/boots,

a packed lunch

raingear (hopefully we won’t need it).

Unfortunately the terrain is not suitable for buggies and children must be able for a short hike. The idea is for the Beavers to show their families what it is like to be a scout.

If you cannot come along maybe a family member or adult friend could take your place.  We would love as many beavers to achieve this badge and also make a good day for everyone. Please text 086 3596475 of how many from your family will attend.

We will be meeting in the Scout Den at 11am on Saturday the 25th. Please bring all sleepover gear with you.

Packed Lunch must be brought for the Saturday.
